Head North on the A9 from Perth towards Inverness
Take the Aviemore exit (B9152)
Stay on the B9152 until you reach the roundabout entering Aviemore
Turn right at the roundabout onto the B970 towards Cairngorm Mountain
After a hundred metres or so, turn left onto Dalfaber Road
Take the next left (signposted Pine Bank Chalets) and follow the road until you see reception situated straight ahead
Head South on the A9 from Inverness towards Perth
Take a slight left at the A95 signposted Aviemore/B9125
Turn right at the B9125
Travel through Aviemore village until you reach the roundabout by La Taverna
Turn left at the roundabout onto the B970 towards Cairngorm Mountain
After a hundred metres or so, turn left onto Dalfaber Road
Take the next left (signposted Pine Bank Chalets) and follow the road until you see reception situated straight ahead
Aviemore train station is on the Highland mainline running from Edinburgh, Perth, Aviemore to Inverness. It is also possible to reach Aviemore directly from London and the South on the East Coast mainline. Aviemore train station is on Grampian Road, the main High Street in Aviemore.
From the train station, it is a short taxi ride to Pine Bank Chalets or the journey can be made on foot. Exit the station from the front and turn left along Grampian road. Walk past the fuel station until you reach a slope to your left (opposite the Fish and Chip shop and Indian restaurant). Walk down this slope, under the bridge, and then turn right past the Old Bridge Inn pub. Keep walking up this road and you will see Pine Bank Chalets to your right.
Inverness is the closest airport to Aviemore at between 45 minutes and an hour’s journey by car. At the airport it is possible to hire a car or take a taxi to Pine Bank Chalets. Bus: Aviemore can be reached by bus from many locations – check Stagecoach for information and local timetables. Buses usually terminate on Grampian Road – follow the route above from the train station to reach Pine Bank Chalets.
