Activities

There is no end to the activities on offer. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or just want to take in the local scenery there is something for everyone.

Cairngorm Mountain

We are ideally located for access to Cairngorm being situated just off the mountain road ourselves. During the summer months you can enjoy rides up the funicular railway for spectacular views from the top (or why not walk up instead!). During the winter the mountain is open for snowsports with tuition and hire also available.

Rothiemurchus estate

Just up the road from us is the Rothiemurchus estate which runs an array of activities. At the visitor centre you can book a quad bike trek, Land Rover tour, off-road driving experience, clay pigeon shooting and much more.

Tree-Zone

Next door to the Rothiemurchus centre is tree-zone, an aerial adventure course within the Pine trees.

G2

G2 run all manner of activities throughout the year; zip wire park, white water rafting, gorge walking and more in the summer, turning to ski touring during the winter months.

Full on Adventure

Loch Morlich

A beautiful setting with sandy beach ideal for walks, swims and also offering hire of paddle boards, kayaks, windsurfers and sailing dinghies.

Plenty of courses in the area that welcome guests including the Macdonald Spey Valley course, Nethy Bridge, Carrbridge and Boat of Garten.

Cycling

A great way to see the local scenery and cover a lot of ground, we have a small selection of mountain bikes on site to hire with some great cycles from the doorstep. In town are Mikes Bikes and Bothy Bikes who both also offer rental and have a wider variety including kids trailers etc.
