What you can expect from a stay at Eagle Lodge

Eagle Lodge is a luxury detached cabin offering spacious accommodation spread over two floors for up to 4 guests across 2 bedrooms. We designed the lodge with space and comfort in mind with a focus on using natural materials where possible. The timber cladding used both inside and out comes from sustainable Finnish forests and is treated with heat and steam alone taking its environmental impact to a minimum. We have also used reclaimed timber for the kitchens, doors and furniture. An air source heat pump delivers the heating and hot water for the lodge, triple glazed Norwegian windows help to keep the cold out.

Eagle Lodge is pet friendly and perfect for couples and families. There is also ample space to set up a cot for infants which is available on request. Downstairs is a twin bedroom (can me made up as Super King on request). The bedroom is spacious with wardrobe space, vanity and TV with internet access.

Adjacent to the downstairs bedroom is a bathroom with bespoke Finnish sauna, rain shower and large vanity unit.

Also downstairs is the spacious kitchen diner. The kitchen comes equipped with Bosch appliances, granite worktops and large kitchen island. The dining table has ample seating space for up to 6 should you have friends or family also staying on site. A high chair is also available on request.

Downstairs in the lodge has underfloor heating throughout to keep the lodge cosy throughout the year. Leading off the kitchen diner are sliding patio doors that take you out to an enclosed decked area. This is partly undercover, protected by the balcony above. There are views toward Craigellachie Hill and in the summer the deck is flooded with light. An outdoor table and chair set is located here for al fresco dining, a charcoal BBQ is also provided.

The oak staircase leads up to the living room and also the second bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom. The living room is split into two zones; one side has a large comfortable sofa with the smart TV, the other side has the wood burning stove and two oversized lounge chairs with table for cosy nights by the fire. A set of sliding patio doors lead out to a balcony area with chairs which is protected by the eaves of the roof, offering light and fresh air to the living area.

The other half of the first floor is dedicated to the bedroom. In the bedroom is a Super King bed with sumptuous duvet, just off the bedroom is the en-suite bathroom with a large shower bath with rain shower. The bedroom has a large open wardrobe and comes equipped with hair dryer.
