Snowsports

Now is the perfect time to visit Pine Bank Chalets and hit the slopes in the Cairngorm Mountains. The snow conditions have been great, and from your base here it is just a 10 minute drive to the car parks. Alternatively there is a bus service from the Village to the slopes. You can hire equipment up the mountain or from a variety of shops in and around Aviemore.

Golf

Don't forget your golf clubs! There are 5 courses and driving ranges in the area including the brand new Spey Valley Course.

Pony Trekking

There are several riding centres within easy reach of Pine Bank Chalets offering a fun way to take in the stunning scenery of the Cairngorm National Park. All riding centres cater for all experience levels and most offer the chance to ride native Highland Ponies.

Sailing and Windsurfing

On beautiful lochs, surrounded by Scottish Pine forests, just a stones throw from Pine Bank Chalets.

You chance to capture some of the huge array of wildlife in its natural and beautiful habitat.

With an abundance of the usually rare Red Squirrel, the UK's only reindeer herd, and scores of other species of land, bird and water creatures, the Cairngorm National Park is the ideal place for some wildlife watching. You may even get to see Red Squirrels from your doorstep at Pine Bank Chalets!

Mountain Biking

Whether it is a gentle ride through stunning forests or an adrenaline fueled adventure, from Pine Bank Chalets you can reach some excellent trails from your doorstep and some purpose built tracks a little further afield.

Fishing

Whether it be Trout and Salmon fishing in the River Spey, Pike fishing in Loch an Eilen, or just some stream fishing you are after, Pine Bank Chalets is within easy reach of a multitude of fishing spots in and around Aviemore.
